MIDTOWN — A Port Authority engineer was injured Friday morning after being hit by a Greyhound bus near the PA Bus Terminal, officials said.

The incident happened at 10:49 a.m. at West 40th Street and Dyer Avenue, about a block away from the station, the fire department said.

The 43-year-old engineer, who is assigned to the bus terminal, had minor lower back and neck injuries, according to a PA spokesman.

The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
