GREENWICH VILLAGE - Fitness fanatics took to Washington Square Park Sunday afternoon to strut their stuff in a Zumba class - part of the city's BeFitNYC Festival.

The fitness craze combines Latin and International music with exercise.

"These NY'ers are Making NYC their Gym at free zumba class in Washington Sq Park today," tweeted @nycHealthy.

Earlier this week, a Zumba flash mob organized by the city took over Madison Square Park to kick off its "Make NYC Your Gym" week.

Participants in the BeFitNYC Festival, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., also were able to try a host of other fitness classes from Equinox gym including IntenSati, which combines martial arts and aerobic exercise.
