MANHATTAN — A fire broke out on decking at the end of Manhattan's Pier 90 Tuesday, an FDNY official said.
The blaze started at about 11:15 a.m. The official said there was a lot of smoke, but the extent of damage to the pier, at West 50th Street, was unknown.
The pier is used for a variety of events including art shows.
