HELL'S KITCHEN — Firefighters needed to cut the roof off of a car to remove a female passenger after a two-car crash on 10th Avenue Wednesday morning.
The silver Toyota Camry collided with a large white dump truck before striking a pole near West 39th Street, fire officials said.
The injured woman was in stable condition before being taken to Bellevue Hospital, according to the FDNY.
The truck driver, who was not injured, said the accident happened around 8:10 a.m.
"She came up beside me, clipped my bumper," the truck driver, who refused to give his name, claimed. "She was driving crazy."
