MANHATTAN — Lady Gaga said no to Weird Al Yankovic after he asked for her permision to satarize her song "Born This Way."

Yankovic's version, called "Perform This Way," would have appeared on his new album, the singer announced Wednesday on his YouTube account.

"This is my parody of Lady Gaga's song "Born This Way" — which, I'm sorry to say, will NOT be included on my upcoming album," Yankovic wrote.

The singer — who has satirized performers including Michael Jackson, Nirvana and Coolio — reportedly asks musicians for permission to parody their songs in order to keep good relations with the community.

It's unclear what about the song bothered Gaga. Althought it does contain the following lyrics:

I'm so completely original

My new look is all the rage

I'll wrap my small intestines 'round my neck

And set fire to myself on stage.
