MIDTOWN — A popular East Village coffee shop is ready to brew in Midtown.

The trendy Roastown Coffee, which also has outposts on the corner of St. Mark’s Place and at West 27th Street and Sixth Avenue in Chelsea, has unfurled a "Coming Soon" banner in the vacant "NY Man" store on West 34th Street at the corner of Eighth Avenue between Friday’s and a bargain jewelry store.

In addition to organic coffee, the new "healthy food bar" promises sushi, fresh juices, salads, sandwiches and 16 flavors of frozen yogurt.

But the coffee house will have some competition on the fast-food heavy stretch: At least half a dozen Starbucks outposts crowd the surrounding blocks.

Roastown did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Staff at the East Village location said that they are now independent from the chain.

The coffee shop is set to open in Midtown.
