MANHATTAN — Giants quarterback Eli Manning became a dad on Monday after his wife, Abby McGrew Manning, 26, had a baby girl, ESPN.com reported.
"The Manning family grows by one: Congrats to Eli & Abby Manning on Monday birth of a daughter, Ava Frances, 7 lbs, 4 oz. Their first child," tweeted ESPN analyst Chris Mortensen Thursday.
Manning met his wife while they were both at the University of Mississippi. They got married in 2008.
At least one fan is hoping for more children from Eli.
"we need a boy!!!! Must have new heir." tweeted @simonsjonathan.
