MANHATTAN — A broken rail tie on the northbound track at 110th Street and Lenox Avenue caused delays throughout the 2 and 3 train subway line for straphangers on Wednesday morning.

Commuters were delayed as the 2 train runs on the 5 train line in both directions from Nevins Street in Brooklyn to 149th Street Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

The rail was fixed by 9 a.m., but the train lines were still experiencing residual delays, according to the MTA's website.
