EAST VILLAGE — A car crash on East Houston Street snarled traffic Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. at East Houston and FDR Drive. Traffic was restricted to one lane while the street was cleared and the accident was being investigated, according to the FDNY.
The FDNY said the crash involved only one car and no one was injured in the accident. A tow truck hauled the crash away and the driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene, the FDNY said.
