CHELSEA — The Barney Warehouse semi-annual sale began Thursday, attracting hordes of deal-hungry fashion followers to the 17th Street store.
Upper East Sider Donielle Lerner, 23, and Lisa Destrada, 21, from Westchester lined up at 6:30 a.m. outside the Chelsea store between Seventh and Eighth Avenue to get first dibs when the doors opened at 8 a.m.
"We want to get the good shoes," said Destrada, adding that she coveted a pair of Louboutin's and Yves St. Laurent.
About a hundred feet back, 19-year-old student Danilo Beaubrul said that he had been coming to the sale with his parents and uncles for a decade.
"It's a tradition or holiday for us," Beaubrul said. "I always walk out with something the first day, and definitely I always walk out with something the last day."
