UPPER EAST SIDE — Danny Meyer finally released a few details Tuesday about his restaurant opening at the Whitney Museum in March.
The place will be titled, "Untitled," and will serve food inspired by classic Manhattan coffee shops for breakfast and lunch during the week, according to a statement. There will be a varying dinner menu on the weekends that will "change each night based on what's fresh in the market."
Former Gramercy Tavern Executive Sous Chef Chris Bradley will run the kitchen, which will serve food for both museum-goers and non-museum guests.
The cafe was designed by Rockwell Group, and "will be harmonious with that of the Marcel Breuer-designed Museum," according to the statement.
The restaurant will serve locally sourced ingredients and Stumptown Coffee.
