MANHATTAN — Consumers of fine restaurant equipment can pick the bones of short-lived Gramercy restaurant Allegretti on Wednesday, when representatives of the shuttered eatery will auction of everything from chandeliers to meat slicers.

Allegretti had featured food by French chef Alain Allegretti, the onetime executive chef of Atelier at the Ritz-Carlton and the 2008 winner of Eater's "Hottest Chef" competition.

But the restaurant closed last summer, after only two years in business, according to Eater.com.

Now, the restaurant's owners are auctioning off its wares, including dining room furniture, china and kitchen equipment.

The auction will begin at 2:30 on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at the shuttered restaurant, located at 46 West 22nd St, according to an announcement on AuctionZip.com.

Alain Allegretti had been the executive chef at the Ritz-Carlton's restaurant Atelier before opening Allegretti in 2008.
