GREENWICH VILLAGE — From Albany to the academic Ivory Tower.

Former governor David Paterson will start teaching at NYU, the Daily News reported Thursday.

The former governor did not reportedly specify what he will teach or when he will join the faculty. But said he was still working out some details with the university.

"Still have a couple of things that I'm closing the loop on," Paterson told the News.

The former governor seemed relieved to be out of office and no longer dealing with the numerous controversies that plagued his administration.

"So things are working out well," Paterson reportedly said in an interview on WOR. "I wake up in the morning and I don't have to to wonder what went wrong that is going to get blamed on me."
