CHINATOWN — Police released a sketch of a man who allegedly attacked a woman on an East Broadway subway station last Friday, while she waited for the F train.
The woman, Sabrina Scott, was knocked unconscious when she fell onto the train tracks following the Feb. 4 assault, but was rescued by a fast-acting good Samaritan, identified later as Derrick Oakes.
Oakes and Scott were reunited Monday when he visited her in Bellevue Hospital after seeing an interview with Scott on TV, according to reports.
"It means a lot to me, because he saved my life," Scott told MyFoxNY.com.
The alleged attacker is described by police as a light-skinned, Hispanic male, aged between 35 and 40, approximately 6 foot tall, weighing 200 pounds and wearing light blue jeans and a tan sweater. He has a clean-shaven, pock-marked face and a shaven head.
