EAST VILLAGE — Film crews from the hit series "Gossip Girl" shot scenes at neighborhood landmark Veselka on Second Avenue Monday morning.
Actress Blake Lively was on hand for the shoot outside the 55-year-old restaurant at the corner of East 9th Street, as crowds gathered across the street to snap pictures.
The popular New York-based show has used the East Village as backdrop before, filming scenes on Avenue A last October, EV Grieve reported.
