MANHATTAN — A fire broke out at a Lower East Side restaurant Thursday night in a building made famous by the Beastie Boys, the FDNY said.

The fire department received a call at 8:11 p.m. about a fire in the first floor of the Three Monkeys restaurant at 99 Rivington St. at Ludlow Street — the corner building featured on the cover of the Beastie Boys' seminal 1989 album "Paul's Boutique."

The fire was put out by 8:46 p.m., and no injuries were reported, the FDNY said.

"Another LES fire, Three Monkeys up in smoke," noted john_swaggerdap on Twitter.

The restaurant, which specializes in falafel wraps, is a popular place to eat after a night out, according to several posts on Yelp.com.

"Lets wrap! 3 monkeys! One of my favorite places to eat after getting drunk," one person posted.
