Police Seek Suspect Who Allegedly Mugged Elderly Man in Harlem Hotel

MANHATTAN — Police are on the hunt for a suspect believed to have robbed and shoved an elderly man in East Harlem last week.

The suspect is accused grabbing the 75-year-old victim's wallet and pushing him to the ground inside the Park Avenue Hotel at 1815 Park Ave. near East 125th Street last Thursday, the NYPD said.

A surveillance photo of the suspect shows him wearing what appears to be a towel around his neck. Police describe the man they're looking for as black, 25 to 30-years-old, approximately 5'8" and 145 lbs.
