UPPER EAST SIDE — Former Brat Pack actress Demi Moore is looking to sell two 19th century paintings Nov. 4 at Sotheby’s, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

One work, "Frere et Soeur" by French artist William Bouguereau, is expected to bring in around $1.5 million. The painting shows a young woman looking lovingly at her baby brother while carrying him.

The second, "Mere et Ses Enfants" by Belgian painter Alfred Stevens, is estimated at $200,000.

Moore reportedly paid $178,000 for "Frere et Soeur" at a 1995 Christie’s auction. Sotheby’s website said the "composition's smooth brushwork erases the presence of the painter, and creates a balance between immobile, static form and rich surface details."

"It’s time for a change," Moore said in a telephone interview with The New York Times. "I’m going a bit more modern.’’
