SOHO — An elderly SoHo woman was pushed to the ground and mugged for her handbag while walking on Broadway in broad daylight earlier this month, police said.

The victim was walking on Broadway, near Thomas Street, about 11 a.m. on Sept. 17 when a man approached her and demanded she put her hands behind her back, police said. When she refused, he pushed her to the ground and grabbed her handbag, police said. She scraped her knee and elbow in the process, police said.

Sean Pfaeffle, 26, of Holbrook, NY,  was charged with robbery and resisting arrest, according to the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
