INWOOD — Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the Harlem River Drive and industrial Tenth Avenue in Inwood is Swindler Cove Park, a serene slice of nature few residents venture out to see in the urban landscape.

A walk through New York Restoration Project's cultivated vegetable and flower garden, founded by Bette Midler, reveals many treasures, as does the waterfront path that winds along the Greenway that buttresses Manhattan's eastside.
