UPPER EAST SIDE — The fashion line is ahead of the subway line on Second Avenue.

The New York Transit Museum Store has launched a collection of Second Avenue subway merchandise even though construction on the line is far from being completed.

Second Avenue subway items for sale include T-Train shirts for $20, T-Train magnets for $3, teddy bears for $7 and mouse pads for $12.

"They are selling and I've just reordered more," said manager Gail Goldberg about the popular T-shirts.

The museum tweeted a picture of the T-train shirt with the tagline: "Wear it before you ride it!" The tweet was a cheeky nod to the ever-changing completion date construction project.

The adorably named Q-T Subway line is expected to open in December of 2016 despite several setbacks, including one with the tunnel boring machine during the first phase of construction.
