MANHATTAN — Police have released a video they hope will help them in their search for a suspect in the murder of EMT Jason Green, who gained notoriety in an unrelated incident last year when he was accused of ignoring a dying woman because he was on break.

Green was shot during a fistfight July 18 over a parking space near SoHo's Greenhouse nightclub.

The NYPD have released a shaky video which shows the melee that led to Green's death. Green was allegedly on top of an opponent, punching him, when a friend of the man Green was beating pulled out a gun and shot him twice in the torso.

Green made headlines in December of 2009, after witnesses said he and his girlfriend, also an EMT, refused to help a pregnant Au Bon Pain worker, who was having an asthma attack, during their break.

The worker, Eutisha Rennix, and her baby died in the incident, for which Green received a 30-day suspension.
