MIDTOWN WEST — A cashier at a Midtown Europa Café was arrested for allegedly stealing more than $72,000 in change over a nine-month period, the New York Post reported Thursday.

Aicha Moubarak, 33, allegedly rang up orders incorrectly at the café on West 57th Street and then took the extra cash. The Queens woman stole the money between July 2009 and April of this year, the paper reported.

Moubarak was reportedly trying to pay off large debts, including $64,239 to credit lenders and collectors.
