MANHATTAN — A Chelsea mother spotted a man she thinks tried to rape her teenage daughter at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street and pointed him out to police, who promptly arrested him, the New York Post reported.
The mom and her 17-year-old daughter were walking in Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday afternoon when she spotted the man, Marc Oquendo, 20, outside the bus terminal. Oquendo apparently used to date the woman's daughter and allegedly tried to rape her Sunday night, police told to the paper.
Oquendo was charged with burglary as a sexually motivated crime and attempted rape, the Post reported.
