EAST VILLAGE — A 29-year-old Staten Island man was stabbed to death Tuesday night on Avenue D in the East Village, police said.
Luis Johnson was found unconscious with stab wounds to his torso and arm outside 20 Avenue D at roughly 8 p.m., the NYPD said. He was taken to Beth Israel Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A resident of the building, Loius Dawson, 36, was arrested and is being charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
