MANHATTAN -- Naomi Campbell apparently won't face charges after allegedly attacking her driver.

Police were searching for the supermodel Tuesday in Midtown after she allegedly struck her driver with a cell phone and then took off running through the streets of Midtown.

But on Wednesday, the NYPD said the model won't face charges.

After the alleged incident, the driver pulled over and told a traffic cop about the incident, who then relayed the incident to police.

The driver was treated for a minor cut and swelling at a local precinct, sources told DNAinfo.

“There shouldn’t be a rush to judgment,” Jeff Raymond, a spokesman for Campbell told the New York Times late Tuesday. “There is more to the story than meets the eye.”

In 2008, Campbell pleaded guilty to assaulting two police officers at Heathrow Airport.

The year before, Campbell had to take anger management classes and perform community service after throwing a cell phone at her maid in Manhattan.
