MANHATTAN — Alternate side parking rules were back in effect Monday morning, even as much of the snow from Friday's blizzard remained on city streets.

The rules were suspended on Friday. Warmer temperatures over the weekend helped melt away some of the inches of snow.

Drivers are also advised to be sure to clean any remaining snow off of the roofs of their cars — blowing snow off a moving car creates a hazard for drivers. DNAinfo.com witnessed police giving motorists tickets for having ice and snow on their car roofs over the weekend.

Another storm may be on the way, however. The forecast calls for a chance of snow on Wednesday.
