MANHATTAN — A Bronx man opened fire on his ex-girlfriend in the Upper East Side Saturday, sending her to the hospital with two gunshot wounds to the arm and forehead, police said.
The NYPD arrested Ramon Castillo, 24, Sunday for the shooting that happened on the corner of E. 91st Street and Third Avenue, the Daily News reported.
Castillo waited until his ex-girlfriend, 21, left work at 11:30 p.m. before jumping out of a car and firing two shots, the New York Post reported.
No one else on the corner was hurt, and Castillo was caught a block away from the shooting, according to the News.
The woman, who was not identified by police, was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell where she remained in stable condition Monday, the paper reported.
