MANHATTAN — A 22-year-old man was killed during the Wednesday morning rush when he was struck by an MTA bus at 53rd Street and Ninth Avenue, police said.
The bus was traveling westbound at 8:40 a.m. on 53rd Street when it made a left turn to head south and struck the man, who police described as being Asian.
The man was taken to Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's ID was being withheld by police pending family notification. An investigation is ongoing.
