Police allegedly have a recording of Enoch Jackson saying "I robbed, I stole, I killed."

At least six of the incidents may have been gang-related, police said.

Last month, there were 16 murders in Chicago, 36 fewer than in March of 2012, police said.

The unrelated incidents occurred in Little Village and West Englewood, police said.

Akeem Manago, 19, was killed in the 1300 block of West Hastings Street in University Village.

The victims of the Wednesday night shootings did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

The shootings spanned the city, injuring men in Little Village, Humboldt Park, Englewood and Rogers Park.

The unrelated shootings occurred in Humboldt Park, the Near West Side and Dunning, police said.

Two men were wounded in separate South and West side shootings Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Two of the shootings may have been gang-related, police said.

Tarance Etheredge, 21, will lose half of his lung after the shooting on East 77th Street.

Shootings continue, but no murders reported.
