Garfield Park Shootings

A 15-year-old boy was among those killed Thursday, police said.

Among the victims was a 16-year-old boy who was shot in his head and critically wounded.

The man was shot in the 4700 block of West Flournoy Street, police said.

Most recently, a 19-year-old man was shot in South Shore.

She was "a fighter," said the mom of 27-year-old Precious Land, who was featured in the New York Times .

A 14-year-old girl was among those wounded by gunfire on Monday.

Most recently, a 31-year-old man was shot in Gage Park, police said.

The shooting happened in the 3200 block of West Lexington Street, police said.

The 65-year-old woman was inside a building on the block and was hit in her leg, police said.

"You should never come around here alone."

The boy was shot while standing at the corner of Jackson Boulevard and Kostner Avenue, police said.

The man was shot in the 700 block of North Ridgeway Avenue, police said.

The man was found shot in the 300 block of South Whipple Street.

The teen was shot in the 3300 block of West Van Buren Street, police said.

The people were shot in the 100 block of South Kostner Avenue.
