The Zoning Board of Appeals weighed the application from the Green Gate Compassion Center.

It won't be "an immediate cash cow," said the owner, especially with its permit deferred.

Former trader Bob Kingsley was one of 13 Chicago applicants expected to get a state license.  

Strip club owner Perry Mandera should find another West Loop site for the dispensary, the alderman said.

MedMar sought a special-use permit for a dispensary at 2843 N. Halsted St.
