MAP: 1,900 city blocks were the sites of shootings this year, according to data compiled by DNAinfo.

The shooting occurred in front of Camelot Excel Southwest High School Friday afternoon, officials say.

In at least 250 incidents, 341 people were shot, 55 fatally, DNAinfo data shows.

Of those shot, 44 died from their wounds, based on DNAinfo's records.

Des Plaines resident Devante Taylor, 18, will be a high school senior this fall, his attorney said.

The 21-year-old man was fatally shot around 3:45 a.m., police said.

A 35-year-old man was unresponsive at the scene, police said.  

Marsean Lofton, 18, was shot while driving near the Congress Expy. on May 31.

Most recently, a 22-year-old man was in very critical condition after a shooting Friday, police said.

The 18-year-old woman was shot around 6:10 p.m., police said.

The 49-year-old man was shot around 11:30 p.m., police said.

The shooting occurred around 11:05 p.m., police said.

The man was shot around 4:20 a.m., police said.

The 37-year-old man was shot in his right arm around 6:30 p.m., police said.

The most recent shooting was the homicide, which occurred in West Pullman around 3:45 a.m., police said.
