Miguel "Mikey" Cancel was gunned down April 13, 2013, in the 4200 block of West Irving Park Road.

Maurice Wooden, 51, died Tuesday morning after he was shot in Washington Heights in May 2013.

Jackie Stiffend, 26, was charged in the Nov. 25 slaying of LaChris Hendricks, 32.

Cesar Torres, 22, is accused of killing Ricardo Herrera, 21, and shooting two others.

Michael Suggs, of the 11600 block of South Princeton Avenue, was arrested Tuesday.

James Wilson, 30, of suburban Forest Park, was arrested in Urbana.

Jesse Castillo, 23, was ordered held on $750,000 bond Thursday for attempted murder.

Nevada Hicks, 18, has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Demarco Lyons.

The Comcast employee was shot at 12:55 p.m. in the 7600 block of South Kingston Avenue, police said.

The men were wounded in the 7100 block of South Vincennes Avenue about 8:20 p.m., police said.

August Galladay, 25, of the 3700 block of South Wells Street was pronounced dead 1:19 a.m. Tuesday.
