A man was shot in the 3000 block of West Marquette Road.

Allen had dedicated his golden years to helping others and playing bid whist, his wife said.

The incident took place by 15th Street and Kedzie Avenue, police said. 

"Everything was great over here until today," a neighbor said after the man's body was found.

The men were shot in the 0-100 block of West Elm Street.

A 17-year-old and an 19-year-old man were found unresponsive in a car.

He was hit in his lower abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was shot twice in his chest, police said.

The man was shot in the 8000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.

This has been the deadliest year in Chicago in more than a decade — and we still have a month to go.

Smith was found in a parking lot unresponsive from multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.
