A 30-year-old man was shot in his head and body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

The teen was shot in the 4800 block of South Throop Street, police said.

A 16-year-old boy was among those killed, and there was a mass shooting in South Chicago.

Six people were shot during an attack in the 8800 block of South Exchange Avenue.

Two men were shot in the chest and one died from his injuries, police said.

Among the victims was a 17-year-old shot in his head, police said.

Deshawn Lamont Adams, 20, was fatally shot in a Garfield Park drive-by Tuesday evening, officials said.

Raul Gonzalez has been charged in stabbings that killed one man and wounded two others, police said.

The man was shot in the 10300 block of South Avenue M, police said.

A 22-year-old man was shot dead in Englewood Saturday morning, police said.

The two were walking together when someone walked up to them and fired shots, police said.

According to a police source, the victim had been at a club and was walking to his car when he was shot.
