Gone but not forgotten.

"I'm not really a restaurant guy," owner Dan Sullivan said before Charmers became Towbar in 2013.

On Sunday, the restaurant's Facebook page said the shop would be closed by Tuesday.

Though the bar and cafe underwent major changes in April, it's quietly transforming back to its roots.

Owner Chris Casas installed motorbikes and painted the cafe, but its new name hasn't been revealed.

Towbar replaced Charmers Cafe in Jarvis Square in 2013.

Proceeds from drink sales will benefit a charity working with homeless LGBT youths.

The day commemorates the storming of the Bastille, a French prison, during the French Revolution.

The owners, who also run Towbar in Jarvis Square, plan to open after final construction.

The walking tour features restaurants and galleries near the neighborhood's "L" stations on Sunday.

Phone and Internet service was knocked out on the block, according to the 49th Ward office.

The owner of the restaurant's building on Jarvis Avenue said the storefront won't be empty long.

Ann Rainey, who represents Evanston's southern border, said businesses like Ward Eight help Chicago, too.
