Swedish American Museum

Work began Monday morning to replace the iconic water tower at the Swedish American Museum. 

The property has historical significance (including a 110-year-old tree), residents said.

The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce teamed up wih Everything But the House for the sale.

The Swedish American Museum has raised thousands to restore the tower, but needs an "extra push."

The Andersonville procession will begin at 4:45 p.m. at the Swedish American Museum.

Gifts include: glögg, celebrity candles, tomtar and perks for your pup.

The Julmarknad festival will be held at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark St., this weekend.

More than 40 local businesses will stay open until 10 p.m. for Late Night Andersonville.

The Swedish American Museum is just $30,000 of reaching its goal to restore the water tower.

The wine walk will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 15.
