City officials showed off the old post office's restored lobby as they court the e-commerce giant. 

The cluster of riverfront high-rises will essentially be a new Downtown neighborhood.

For better or worse, the city has used its trump card to redevelop big swaths of Downtown for decades. 

The enormous Downtown building has languished for decades as developers have come and gone.

No injuries were reported, and the fire at the long-vacant building was "under control" early Tuesday.

As the city plans upgrades, Midwest High Speed Rail Association wants more riders to use the Great Hall.

The entire neighborhood would benefit from having the old post office occupied, Fioretti said.
