Chicago Public Schools in Rogers Park saw a $559,841 decrease in funds based on lower enrollment rates.
Beloved Principal Susan Kilbane resigned from her post in late January.
Kilbane said in a letter to parents that she would be stepping down for "family and personal" reasons.
Acting Principal Carlos Patino said he "fully" expects Susan Kilbane to return to her post.
