Calling the project too tall, Friends of Fulton Market hope to stop the Sterling Bay project.     

Developers will propose the project at 19-27 N. May and 1115 W. Washington Tuesday night. 

It "looks greedy," one neighbor said at a Tuesday night meeting on the project for the H2O Plus site.

Leaders will talk the new Neighborhood Opportunity Fund and the impact it will have on the West Loop. 

New renderings show four buildings, including a 17-story tower, would be developed near Bartelme Park. 

The tree-lighting ceremony will include a visit from Santa, free pizza and more family fun.

The new development will displace A&A Automobile Service, a 62-year-old auto repair shop at the site.

The developer plans to discuss the project at a Wednesday night meeting.

The move comes after hundreds of West Loop residents shut down an apartment plan at 111 S. Peoria. 

Charles Grode, a Chicago Symphony Orchestra leader, will now head the non-profit music school.

Residents are invited to weigh in on the proposed 10-story building at a meeting Tuesday night.
