McKinley Park Library

Children ages 8-11 will create their own superhero characters while discussing comic book basics.

The drive is looking for nonperishable, canned items to be donated through Friday.

Space is limited for the free class at the McKinley Park Library.

Smart phones with an Internet connect are the only requirement.

Stephanie Dunn, of Chicago Native Farm Yard, will teach the workshop Saturday at 1915 W. 35th St.

The meeting starts at noon at  1915 W. 35th St.

The McKinley Park Library will host a video game design class for kids on Wednesday.

All about terrariums, the program is set for March 23 at 4:30 p.m.

You can bring your own chess set or use one from the library.

Families are welcome to attend to learn about leap year while playing games and creating crafts.

The story event runs from 11-11:30 a.m. at 1915 W. 35th St.

You can catch the exhibits from Oct. 1-Dec. 31 during regular library hours at 1915 W. 35th St.

The 60-minute class has six spots available.

Seniors can visit the McKinley Park library Thursday and learn how to use a computer.

The Southwest Side library is offering free computer lessons for senior citizens.
