The proposed merger of Ogden and Jenner schools next school year is now in serious doubt. 

The Downtown school with two campuses received the highest rating from CPS this year. 

CPS refused to answer questions on the proposed cuts.

Ogden's LSC approved further pursuit of a consolidation with the Cabrini-Green school.

Ogden's Local School Council will vote Monday on the plan to combine the Near North Side campuses.

About 70 less students than expected arrived to the first day of school Tuesday.
