Developer Sterling Bay will present plans to neighbors at a meeting Tuesday night. 

Sterling Bay is donating a 2-story building once part of the Harpo campus for the library.  

Sterling Bay officials and Ald. Burnett are expected to announce the new library location Friday. 

The 12-story project, opposed by some in the neighborhood, would bring 1,100 jobs to Fulton Market.

Calling the project too tall, Friends of Fulton Market hope to stop the Sterling Bay project.     

Sterling Bay will present plans for the 210 N. Carpenter building at a West Loop meeting Wednesday. 

And the developer wants to extend the 606 trail east to the Finkl site, according to Crain's.

Sterling Bay Cos. wants to redevelop Union Station and build a skyscraper next door. 

McDonald's will move about 2,000 employees into the new Chicago headquarters, Ald. Burnett said.   

Gabe Beukinga, who is challenging Ald. Walter Burnett Jr. (27th), quit his job as a lending executive.

"I can be a mean person," said Gabe Beukinga, who vowed to "crush'' a developer supporting Ald. Burnett.

Four Corners Tavern Group reportedly wants to take over the stalled project at 3469 N. Clark St.
