St. Matthias Friends of the Grape Wine Festival

Like wine? Then Friends of the Grape is the fest for you.

This annual wine tasting event is sponsored by St. Mathias and also includes food from some of Lincoln Square's favorite restaurants, as well as silent and live auctions.

The festival is set for 12:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Matthias, 4910 N. Claremont Ave.

Participating restaurants feature cuisines to suit every taste, from Italian to Filipino: Barba Yianni, Due Lire, Chicago Brauhaus, Noon O Kabab, Isla Pilipina and a dozen more.

Tickets are $45 per person in advance or $50 at the door. A combined ticket for St. Matthias' Friends of the Craft on Oct. 4 can be bought for $75.
