The 49th Ward Democratic Party and Ald. Joe Moore are offering you an "easy and hassle-free way" to enroll in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as "Obamacare," the alderman said in an email to constituents.
"Health Care Navigators," experts trained in the new law, will be available to answer questions and help residents sign up for the new health insurance program. To apply, please bring verification of income (pay stubs, income tax return) and a form of identification (driver's license, state ID, Social Security card, student visa).
Help will be available from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday at one of two locations:
• 49th Ward Service Office, 7356 N. Greenview Ave.
• 49th Ward Democratic Party headquarters, 1774 W. Greenleaf Ave.
Another session will be offered at the same times and locations Saturday, Dec. 7.
