Photographer Marc Hauser brings his latest work, “A Name Would Stain This Show,” to Wicker Park's Silver Room, 1442 N. Milwaukee Ave., from Dec. 7 to Jan. 15. An opening reception is scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. Dec. 7.
Celebrating 45 years of portrait photography, Hauser will reveal new faces along with his most recognized and admired photographs spanning the decades including portraits of Michael Jordan, Jimi Hendrix, Madonna, Woody Allen, Jim Morrison, Dr. Timothy Leary and Bill Gates.
In addition to several album covers, the show, curated by Eric Williams, includes vintage prints of Hauser's friends and acquaintances whom are "writers, actors, musicians and icons of the past and present," Williams said.
