The next meeting of the North Mayfair Improvement Association is at 7 p.m. May 1 at the Gompers Park fieldhouse, 4222 W. Foster Ave.
Expect updates on community events and activities, an open forum for residents to raise issues and concerns, and a Q&A with U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.).
Come early and socialize for a bit over light refreshments — the business portion of the meeting will start at 7:15 p.m.
The North Mayfair Improvement Association was founded in 1929 to promote community improvement and civic welfare. The organization serves residents who live within the boundaries of Pulaski Road, Cicero Avenue, Lawrence Avenue and Bryn Mawr Avenue.
