The Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., screens a silent film era romantic comedy "Safety Last," which celebrates its 90th anniversary this week. On Saturday, the West End Jazz Band and live vaudeville entertainment will be presented before the screening, and the iconic film will be accompanied by live organ music.

In the film, a man takes a job as a store clerk in order to marry his sweetheart. He hires an acrobat to climb a multi-story building to impress his boss, but the climber doesn't show, so he must do it himself.

Tickets may be purchased at the Music Box Theatre's website.
