Midnight Circus at Commercial Park

The Midnight Circus is coming to Commercial Park at 1845 W. Rice St. in East Village this weekend, with four performances scheduled for 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets can be bought in advance online and cost $20 for adults or $15 for children ages 2-18; children under 2 are free.

Since 2007, Midnight Circus has been performing across Chicago, helping park advisory councils raise money for park improvements. More than 16,000 people attended shows in 2012, and the circus has raised more than $450,000 for parks in just six years. All participating parks — 11 in 2013 — share equally in proceeds from ticket sales.
